*Welcome to the wonderful world
of affirmations! Peace affirmations Dear Friends, In 1991 Health Communications,
Inc. published a book I wrote during the Gulf War. It was based on a simple theory,
certainly not new, but one that can definitely make a difference. The back cover of the
book explains: 5 MINUTES FOR WORLD PEACE. ..FOREVER... A 9O-Day Affirmation Plan Ruth
Fishel, M.Ed., C.A.C. Illustrated by Bonny Van de Kamp The book is no longer available. But
know that just five minutes a day meditating for peace can bring peace to you and those
around you. Know that you are capable of making a difference in this world. Know that you
are now joining others who are making a difference. The words that we speak, read and
think are very powerful. The lasting effect that these words would have on each
individual, as well as the people that they come in contact with, is immeasurable. We Can
Make A Difference In This World - The Choice Is up to You. The book is no longer in print.
I would like to keep the affirmations going. All we need to do is spend 5 minutes a day.
We will be together with all other people praying and meditating for world peace. There are 1,440 minutes in a day. Thoughtfulness to Humanity Today I will do something positive to express my protest
against human suffering. I can write a letter, make a phone call or begin a local
petition. I can tell others to do the same. from TIME FOR THOUGHTFULNESS,April
7th. I know I am making a
positive difference in the world today. Today I am being a little
kinder to everyone I meet. Today I will be my very best
to bring peace to my life and I am sending thoughts of
peace and love to my world family today. Oct 4 Today I
can wait until all negative and hostile feelings Oct. 5 Today I
am developing a world of peace for myself, Words are very powerful.
Words have the power to move us, to change how we feel. There is healing
power in words! We are touched by words. They reach into our hearts!
Words inspire! We are moved by the
messages we tell ourselves. They create positive or negative healing or destructive
actions and feelings. Our bodies respond to them with sickness or health. Even
the way we mentally define our experiences to ourselves causes the release or suppression
of various neurochemicals. Therefore, it can actually be dangerous for us to hold on
to negative thoughts such as anger, fear or resentments. Doing so creates an inappropriate
production of body chemicals, setting off a chemical response which signals our body to
become prepared for the worst. But worry and, in fact all our thoughts, can
be changed! We no longer have to be victims of the way we talk to ourselves!
Our feelings no longer have to be the victims of messages from the past. We can
learn to be in charge of how we feel in the present moment. we are going to
change! Feel the power of the words below. See how they can
change how you feel and, thus, change your life. I will no longer let my fears block me
from the person I'm supposed to be. I am following my own inner path for
solitude. I am a confident person
today. God is in charge of my life. I get all my power from my Higher Power. When a negative thought comes into my mind
I just change my mind to thoughts of my Higher Power I am in the process of getting the perfect
job for me today. I have all the energy I need today to do
that which is good and right in my life! I have all the time I need today to do
everything God wants me to do. I am terrific just the way I am! I deserve wonderful things to happen to
me! My past no longer owns me.
